The Building Block System
Dog training isn’t a collection of tricks.
It’s an education.
Dog training isn’t a collection of tricks.
It’s an education.
And education happens in layers.
We don’t offer random, à la carte sessions because that’s not how behavior change works. You can’t expect your dog to behave at a busy café if they don’t yet know how to behave in your living room.
That’s why every dog starts with the same foundation.
The only question is:
How far do you want to take your dog’s education?
OUR CORE PROGRAMS
Level 1:
The Homebody Dog
What We Build:
Impulse control
A reliable “On/Off” switch
Calm, polite greetings for guests
Doorway manners
Stopping counter surfing
Listening the first time inside the house
Not just obedient.
Balanced. Calm. Predictable.
This level is required for all advanced training.
Strong foundation. Strong future.
The Foundation
This is where real change begins.
Perfect for puppies or dogs who need structure and clarity inside the home. We focus on building your dog’s “Internal Operating System” — how they think, respond, and regulate themselves.
Because if the inside of your home feels chaotic, nothing else will stick.
The Goal:
A dog who is a joy to live with.
Level 2:
The Neighborhood Dog
What We Add:
Loose-leash walking
Ignoring squirrels and other dogs
Focus around mild distractions
Reliable recall in the yard
Maintaining calm when the world is interesting
This is where confidence grows.
For both of you.
Foundation + Leash Skills
Once your dog can focus inside, we open the front door.
Now we apply those same thinking skills to the real world.
Because a dog who listens in the kitchen but drags you down the street isn’t truly trained.
The Goal:
A dog who listens to you — even when distractions exist.
Level 3:
The Go-Everywhere Dog
What We Add:
Public field trips (stores, parks, cafes)
Advanced focus in busy environments
Off-leash reliability
Calm behavior in “rush hour” moments
Real-world proofing under pressure
No stress.
No embarrassment.
No hoping they behave.
Just trust.
The Complete Education
This is the “PhD level.”
For owners who don’t just want obedience — they want partnership.
We take your dog on field trips into high-distraction public spaces and proof reliability in environments where most dogs fall apart.
The Goal:
A dog you can take anywhere, anytime — with total confidence.
Ready to Build a Dog You Can Trust?
Your dog’s education starts with structure.
And structure creates freedom.
What our students are saying…
We don’t skip steps, and we don’t chase surface-level symptoms.
We build thinking dogs.
When training is layered properly, behavior stops being fragile. It becomes reliable.
Skills learned in your living room transfer to your front yard, your neighborhood, and eventually to the real world. Instead of starting over in every new environment, your dog understands how to think through distractions.
That’s when everything changes.
Owners begin to feel confident because they’re no longer guessing or repeating commands. Dogs feel secure because expectations are clear and consistent. Structure replaces chaos. Communication replaces frustration.
This isn’t about controlling your dog.
It’s about teaching them how to think — so they can make better choices, even when you’re not micromanaging every move.
Program FAQ
-
Yes.
Every dog begins with the same foundation. Even if your dog already knows some commands, we ensure the “Internal Operating System” is solid before layering advanced skills.
Skipping foundation work is the number one reason training falls apart later.
-
That’s great — and we’ll test it.
Level 1 isn’t just about leash skills. It’s about impulse control, focus, and emotional regulation inside the home. If those aren’t stable, outdoor reliability won’t hold under distraction.
We build stability first, then expand.
-
Progress depends on consistency and participation at home. Most families complete each level within a structured program timeline, but results vary based on your dog’s starting point and your follow-through between sessions.
Training is a partnership — and your involvement matters.
For lasting results, most families continue into one of our Core Programs.
-
Many reactive or anxious behaviors stem from lack of clarity and impulse control. Our layered system is designed to create stability before exposing your dog to higher-level distractions.
If your dog requires specialized behavior modification beyond our scope, we will be honest and guide you appropriately.
-
No — and that’s intentional.
You cannot proof advanced reliability in public spaces if your dog doesn’t first have consistent focus and impulse control inside the home.
Level 3 includes Levels 1 and 2 because advanced behavior is built — not rushed.
-
We understand life happens. We will work with you to reschedule within program guidelines. However, consistent scheduling is critical to maintaining momentum and progress.
Training works best when it stays structured.
-
Behavior doesn’t exist in isolation. A dog that pulls on leash often also struggles with impulse control at home.
Our system addresses root causes, not isolated symptoms, which is why we use a structured program instead of one-off sessions.
-
ou don’t have to decide alone.
During your Introductory Lesson, we assess your dog’s current level, your goals, and your lifestyle. Then we recommend the appropriate starting point.
Whether you want a peaceful home or a dog who can join you anywhere, we’ll map the right path forward.
