Agility done right - from day one.
Not all agility training is the same — and it matters more than you think.
Whether you've never set foot on an agility course or you've been at it a while and something just isn't clicking — you're in the right place.
Most people start agility and have a blast watching their dog scramble over obstacles for treats. But a few months in, something feels off. The dog is inconsistent. Courses get harder and nothing clicks. Handling feels like guesswork.
It usually comes down to foundations. Many trainers skip them — luring dogs over equipment with treats is fast and looks like fun, but the dog never really learns why or how. And without proper handling skills, you hit a wall you can't get over no matter how much you practice.
You don't know what you don't know — until you're stuck.
At Heather's Dog School, we actually train. That means your dog understands what they're doing and why — and you learn the handling skills to direct them confidently on any course. If you're brand new, we'll start you off right so you never hit that wall in the first place. If you've been through a frustrating experience elsewhere, we'll fill in the gaps and rebuild the right way.
Fun in agility isn't an accident. It's the result of doing it right from day one.
