DOG TRAINING IN NASHVILLE, TN

Leap, Dash, Win—Agility Training That Gets Results

  • DOES YOUR DOG IGNORE YOU NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU CALL?
  • FRUSTRATED WITH THE CONSTANT JUMPING, PULLING, AND NOT LISTENING?
  • READY FOR A DOG THAT ACTUALLY LISTENS TO YOU—EVERY SINGLE TIME?

Picture your dog coming the very first time you call—no more chasing, no more shouting.

Think about how good it will feel when guests arrive and your dog greets them politely instead of jumping all over them.

With our programs, you’ll enjoy a dog that listens, responds, and fits beautifully into your life.

Agility Training That Builds Skills and Connections

You want a trainer who not only teaches agility but also sets you and your dog up for long‑term success.
Imagine the transformation: dogs that once hesitated at obstacles now soar over jumps, weave confidently through poles, and tackle every challenge with excitement.

At Heather’s Dog School, we’ve seen countless families go from overwhelmed and unsure to proud, connected teams — ready to have fun or even compete.

No more wondering if you’re doing it right. We’ll guide you every step of the way.

MEET HEATHER

I’m a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior (2008) and have spent over 14 years helping families enjoy their dogs by teaching them how to truly listen. From solving everyday challenges like jumping, leash pulling, and recall, to running fun (and even competitive) agility classes, I love showing both dogs and their people how training can strengthen their bond.

I believe being a great trainer also means being a great teacher. Alongside my dog‑training education, I’m certified through the University at Buffalo’s Teacher Certification Program and have years of experience teaching all age groups. I’m a lifelong learner, always studying with top trainers to bring fresh techniques to my students. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me adventuring with my husband and our four dogs—hiking, camping, canoeing, and competing in agility and sheep herding.

Our Process

  1. Have a look at our programs and see all the great things we can accomplish together.

  2. Go to the "Contact Us" page, get in touch and tell us all about your dog.

  3. We'll plan a time to talk so you can tell us even more, we can get to know you and give you details about our programs so you can choose the one you feel fits you best.

Imagine the joy of watching your dog succeed while feeling completely in sync as a team. That’s the kind of happiness and connection we see in our students every day, and it’s exactly what we want for you.
